
Each year, the Delaware Department of Education (DOE) surveys the parents of students receiving special education services to determine how well the child’s school is partnering with the parent and promoting engagement in the child’s education. All states must collect this data as part of their Annual Performance Report that is required under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
The survey results will be used to provide DOE and your district or charter school with important information regarding parent-school partnerships, transition and the IEP process.
