The Indian River School District is committed to implementing the November 6, 2019 Consent Order* that focuses on building our capacity to meet the needs of all students in their home schools. In accordance with the Consent Order, the Indian River School District is forming a Community Advisory Board that will address various matters related to the Consent Order, including academic and behavioral interventions for all district students and inclusive practices.

The Community Advisory Board will consist of various community stakeholders. Members of the Community Advisory Board will meet on a schedule to be determined with school district representatives and consult with the court-appointed Special Master.

Anyone who is interested in serving on the Community Advisory Board should contact Director of Special Education Judith Brittingham at
