IRSD to Conduct Survey on Mask Protocols
Posted on 12/02/2021
UPDATE: If you experienced problems with the recent phone survey regarding face covering protocols in schools and were not able to respond, you will have the opportunity to complete the survey online. On Friday December 10, you will receive an e-mail containing a link to the online survey. The link will remain active until Monday, December 13 at 4:00 p.m. Information will be validated to ensure responses are not duplicated and that participants are guardians of students in the Indian River School District. In order to complete the online survey form, you will be required to provide the student ID number of one child attending an IRSD school. Each registered guardian can submit this form separately. If you have already completed the phone survey, no further action is required.

Please be advised that the survey regarding face covering protocols will be sent again on Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. to those who have not had a chance to participate. We strongly recommend that you reduce or eliminate background noise when answering the survey call. Otherwise, the system may trigger the answering machine message and you will not be able to submit your response.

The Indian River Board of Education is seeking input from families regarding face covering protocols in schools. On Monday, December 6 at approximately 7:00 p.m., families will be receiving a short, one question phone survey regarding future face covering protocols in schools.  The phone survey question will ask if face coverings should continue to be required in our schools by staff and students, if face coverings should be optional, or if you have no preference. Please take the time to complete this important survey.  To ensure that your responses are recorded properly, we recommend that background noise be kept to a minimum while completing the phone survey.  If you cannot complete the phone survey on December 6, it will be sent again at a later date.

If you have not been receiving automated phone messages from the district or school and believe you may have inadvertently opted out of the system, please call 1-855-502-7867 and follow the automated prompts to be restored to the system.
