Project V.I.L.L.A.G.E. (Verbally Intensive Literacy and Learning Activities for Growth in Education) is an Indian River School District initiative. The program provides a comprehensive, developmental appropriate, quality early childhood program for economically challenged, qualified four year olds in the areas of Selbyville, Frankford, Millsboro, and Georgetown.
Project V.I.L.L.A.G.E. serves approximately 172 students during the school year. Thirty-four children are enrolled in the ECAP program. This award winning program has been recognized with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Superstars in Education Award in 2000, Civic Star Magna Award in 2003, and recently received a STAR level 5 rating from the state of Delaware.
